It's the start of a new week—and a new month—which is the perfect opportunity to hit refresh and set new goals. I don't know about you, but I have a love/hate relationship with "routine." I love the discipline aspect of it, and at the same time hate the same-ness and repetitiveness that comes with it. After a while, doing the same thing over and over gets old to me.

I've learned...

That in order to succeed in anything, consistency is key. And so, last week I took a few days away from the blog and social media to really focus on my fitness routine—something I've been struggling with for a while. It's like, if I'm kicking ass at work and trying to have somewhat of a social life, I can't—er, won't—make time to work out. And, if I'm working on my fitness and killing it at work, then inevitably the blog takes the back burner.

If you've been with me a while...

You know this is an eternal struggle for me—finding the time to do it all. This month, I'm challenging myself to do it all and kick ass. At all of it. But, I'm not making any promises like I have in the past, and I'm not holding myself to any number of blog posts, or fitness classes, or happy hours—I'm simply giving it my best shot.
