On my wardrobe color palette, that is. I don't know where this change came from—perhaps this is me "growing up," or something—but lately, I've been drawn to more toned down, neutral hues. Coming from someone who once loved wearing lots (and lots) of color (see for yourself, exhibit A and B), this is huge.

There's just something undoubtedly luxe and edgy about a neutral ensemble. And, believe it or not, the combinations are endless. For this pairing, I took a cue from the ever-so-stylish Kim K., combining two cool shades—oatmeal and grey—for an effortlessly chic look.

Now, this is not to say that my love affair with color is over (at least not yet...), but do expect to see a lot less of it here on the blog. In the meantime, check out my mood board, which I'm constantly updating to keep me inspired.
