How To: Denim on Denim (Airport Style)

Photobucket    When traveling, I usually opt for the comfiest pair of jeans I own paired with minimal layers on top (i.e. basic tee with a cardi, sweater over a button front blouse, etc.). It's just easier when going through the hassle that is security (can I get an amen?). For this look, I strategically paired two button front shirts together, which makes for an easy way to peel off layers in case you get hot, while also mixing patterns - in this case, plaid and polka dots. I also packed a soft cashmere scarf (not shown) in my carry-on bag to snuggle with on my 4-hour flight.

Not to mention, they're quite the show stoppers/conversation starters out on the street! Also, for the purposes of comfort and going through security, I like to go for easy, slip-on shoes that I could easily take off without holding up the line, you know what I mean? We've all encountered one of those people once or twice.
